Baseball For All Captains are high school-aged girls handpicked for their drive, leadership and willingness to shape the future of baseball. During monthly leadership meetings, the captains speak with leaders in the baseball communities and discuss ways they can build girls baseball in their own communities. Captains have the opportunity to mentor younger BFA athletes and complete a solo project to encourage and inspire others to support girls in baseball. Both current and graduated Oaks have been asked to serve as BFA Captains since the program's inception in 2019. Find out more about the program here and about Baseball For All here.

"I want to help the upcoming generation of girls in baseball feel more confident about playing a [so-called] ‘boys sport'."

Maggie Paulovich
"By being a BFA Captain, I would try and change that perception to show that girls do belong in baseball. Everyone can belong and play the game that they love. There is room for all of us."

Carina Docena
"I want to be a BFA Captain to show and prove that boys aren’t the only people that can play baseball."
