CONNECTING WITH THE OAKLAND A'S - SEPTEMBER 2018
What do the Oakland Athletics and the East Bay Oaks have in common? The Oaks are named in honor of that other team that's #rooted_in_oakland: the Pacific Coast League Oakland Oaks, which began playing in Oakland in 1905. The East Bay Oaks have been connecting with the MLB Oakland A's all summer: welcomed as the Nonprofit of the Night, participating in summer sandlot games with A's reps, and most recently being invited to Take the Field Day in September. Eight Oaks players ran out to their favorite positions at the Sept. 9 game at the Coliseum. And met some Big Heads on the way.

Said one Oaks player: "I have always felt supported on the field from the players. OAKS HOST FIRST WESTERN REGIONAL 'BFA' TOURNAMENT IN JUNE 2018 - MAY 2018
The first Western Regional Championship tournament for Baseball For All organization will be held in the San Francisco Bay Area city of Albany in June 2018. The East Bay Oaks will play host to hundreds of attendees that are expected to attend from June 22-24.
OAKS INVITED TO GROUNDBREAKING 'TRAILBLAZERS' EVENT IN LA - APRIL 2018
In 2017 Major League Baseball USA Baseball launched a new baseball tournament for girls. This year, approximately 100 ballplayers came together to participate in the Trailblazer Series. Four girls from the East Bay Oaks traveled to Los Angeles to represent our team in this groundbreaking series.
